CNES's software catalog
The "Centre National d'Études Spatiales" has developed various software products for its own space projects.
These software products cover a broad range of topics from normalization to flight dynamics (orbital trajectories) through simulation tools.
Some were developed to support CNES’s internal needs but are now available to the international community.
Two types of software products are distributed on this web site :
- Open source Software: Users are guaranteed rights to use, to study, to modify and to duplicate the software. They are distributed under standard free licensess.
- Proprietary software: distributed as freeware with or without source code access and with specific user licenses. However, some tools may require a preliminary authorization and will not be downloadable immediately.
All of these software products are published free of charge and without any guarantee. They are all used within CNES and some of them have been validated operationally for several years.
