PrestoPlot®

PrestoPlot® is a universal freeware developed by CNES to quickly and easily plot any type of dated measurements (in tabulated format), whether they are test bench records, simulation results or telemetry parameters.

Indeed, telemetry is the only way to communicate from the ground with a space object and it was essential for CNES to have a powerful software to visualize the temporal parameters from this telemetry.

This software is used daily in all the satellite control centers operated by CNES to analyze the telemetry parameters in delayed time. It is also used by all experts who conduct investigations based on these data.

PrestoPlot® is a multidisciplinary and "general public" tool that allows you to dive into the heart of your data in only 3 mouse clicks:

One click to load your data into PrestoPlot®,
One click to select the variable to visualize,
One click to display this variable in a graph!
You can then "play" with your data because zooming and panning on axes has never been so easy with the mouse and allows you to quickly analyze your data, while relieving you of the classical problems related to the management of sampling instants and time axes.

All types of time data can be viewed with PrestoPlot®, whether numerical (such as measurements) or textual (such as commands, alarms or messages of any kind). Several time axes can also be displayed in a graph and allow to compare measurements with predictions from simulation, to study the aging of a piece of equipment by superimposing the same measurement over several time periods and finally, to evaluate the same measurement from several pieces of equipment.

The strength of PrestoPlot® also lies in its ability to easily automate recurring data processing with macro commands in text format: mass production of graphs and their insertion in an analysis report have never been so easy!

Finally, this real "Swiss Army knife" is a 10 MB portable software that does not require any prior library or installation procedure: the executable can be used immediately on a Windows or Linux platform.
