The initiatives designed around creative thinking are in line with CNES's ambition to support the competitiveness of French companies and promote development of the space sector's downstream value chain.
Creative thinking contest
We regularly organize or take part in events designed to spark entrepreneurial inventiveness.
These creative sessions can take different forms, such as hackathons, contests, challenges and climathons, but they all have a common denominator: use of satellite data to benefit civil society, the economy and business competitiveness.

More than 400 CNES patents & software at your disposal
To inspire new projects, we are opening up CNES's Intellectual Property and giving you access to a database of more than 400 patents and software that can be used in a wide variety of fields.
Biology/Chemistry, Electronics/Optoelectronics, Engineering/Energy, Optics/Radar, Satellite systems/Balloons/Launchers, Telecommunications/Navigation...
- All these patents and software can be used for commercial and service purposes.The commercialization department is at your service, helping you refine your projects and answering your questions.
