Support for export to Africa
CNES and Aerospace Valley are launching « SMEs Africa », a new initiative to promote the use of Copernicus data in 4 African countries to help them address climate change.
Following a first call for expressions of interest launched in January 2021, 15 European SMEs providing services based on these data have been selected to participate in the project.
For one year (June 2021 - May 2022) they will benefit from Business France support, which will also help them sign commercial agreements and develop sustainable export growth in three African countries (Senegal, Ethiopia, South Africa)
In addition to supporting exports of European companies, SME's Africa also aims to raise awareness of the use of Copernicus data in four countries (Senegal, Ethiopia, South Africa and Gabon).
