OPALIS

The application allows to simulate a satellite power supply chain composed of :

• a solar array,
• a battery,
• a regulation system,
• and possibly a battery charger-discharger.

The simulation is carried out using : 

• ephemeris of direct solar flux, albedo flux and terrestrial infrared flux received at the front and back of the solar array,
• the satellite consumption profile,
• simulation parameters (duration, calculation steps...),
• settings of the power equipment and the regulation functions.

The simulation results can be viewed or exported in the CIC exchange protocol format based on the CCSDS standard.
