Towards more resilience
The actions of the SCO, Space Observatory for the Climate
Provide local climate information to public actors, and help territories to be more resilient. This is what the FLAUde project, developed as part of the Space Climate Observatory #SCO, offers.
Led by CNES and in partnership with the DDTM Aude following the 2018 floods, the project will provide climate and territorial information to information systems to help territorial actors to better protect themselves against the impacts of climate change (Pléiades and Sentinel data). 2).
The Space Climate Observatory operates at the local level, and supports territorial actors by proposing concrete solutions derived from space to help them better understand and better adapt to the impacts linked to the climate emergency, and to mitigate the impacts of climate change in their territories.
